Built in 1962, Westwood Golf Club is a long-time favorite of visiting and local golfers because of its excellent year-round condition, friendly personnel and was chosen by the readers of Golf Digest as one of their favorite places to play from 1996 to 2009.
Westwood’s scenic holes are well maintained and offer a fair challenge to golfers of all levels. The front nine is flat and the back nine offers several elevation changes sure to test the skills of any player.
The Greens are Bent grass and the Fairways are Winter Rye Grass. There are several water hazards in play as well as 20 bunkers. Greens are aerated in April and September and the fairways are over-seeded in the fall. Tees are over-seeded periodically throughout the growing season.
